At the heart of Keyees Sports is Shanavas CKP, Founder and CEO — a seasoned sports events professional with deep international experience and a lifelong passion for football. Hailing from Kozhikode, Kerala, Shanavas has combined his grassroots love for the beautiful game with real operational experience on the global stage.
Before launching Keyees Sports, Shanavas gained critical international exposure in one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments in the world — the FIFA U-17 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates in 2013. He was appointed Logistics Manager for the tournament, a role that involved coordinating complex logistics for teams, officials, and venues — a testament to his meticulous planning, cross-border coordination capabilities, and trust earned from international football stakeholders.
This appointment was a milestone — not just for Shanavas personally, but also as an example of how Indian professionals from non-sporting corporate backgrounds can successfully operate within the global football ecosystem. He balanced this high-profile responsibility while working in the UAE banking sector, and his role spanned travel logistics, venue readiness, schedule coordination, and stakeholder communications — all under the exacting standards of FIFA.
Shanavas's early years were shaped by his deep connection to football culture in Kerala, a state with one of India's most passionate football communities. He is also linked with local football development initiatives, including active involvement with grassroots football organizations that foster young talent and promote the sport's growth in the region.
His vision is to bring international sports entertainment standards to India, crafting platforms that benefit emerging players and global brands alike.
